Nothing reinforces or changes your mood quite like music does. Some days you’re happy, some days you’re sad and you need some music to go along with these feelings. This is exactly what Mood Tuner does. You tell it how you feel and it tries to give some audio that matches by finding an appropriate radio station.
The interface is interesting, consisting mainly of a circle that contains many colors. Each color represents a mood and you’re given tooltips (such as "hopeful", "angry", "happy", "witty") as you hover your mouse over them. Dragging the circle in the direction of the desired mood changes its color and, at some points, switches to another radio station. Getting used to the control and understanding how it works takes a while but it’s worth the (small) effort.
As some would expect, the application doesn’t always match the music it plays with your feelings but most of the times, it does. And I must tell you, it’s pretty impressive when it does. It boosts up your morale and makes you think, “Wow, this is exactly what I wanted! Actually… it’s even better!”. And I’m not exaggerating. Don’t underestimate the power of music and technology!
